My Bio
By trade, I'm a picture framer. By inclination, I'm a sort of art technician. Those two things are not a coincidence. I have some understanding of art and at least a little skill with it, but missed out on the whole creative imagination part somehow. So I express my artistic impulses by using something that already exists as a jumping off point and going from there. I'm not sure what's going to end up here, but I'm going to start with a bunch of vector traces I've done over the years.

All of my stuff is free to use however you want. If it wasn't, then I wouldn't post it somewhere where people can get to it to freely use it however they want no matter what I might say about it anyway. I'd appreciate it though if you drop me a note and a link if you use one of my pieces in something, just because I like to see it.
Just some thoughts that have been wandering around in my head for a while now, come to the fore by this From time to time, in the MMD community, there's a modeler who comes to believe that the way to deal with people who won't follow their rules (which people will ALWAYS exist) is to just start lashing out and punishing anyone and everyone.  Nanami was one such - TDA is another.  And it's probably not a coincidence that Damesukekun is close to both of them. There will always be people in the world who don't understand that respect is reciprocal - that they get respect by giving it, and lose it by refusing to give it.  They don't, won't or c

Just going to ramble for a bit... So there's been a flurry of Kan Colle Shimakaze MMD models lately.  Something about a blonde in a miniskirt and thong just seems to catch people's interest.  Aside from the obvious appeal though, I haven't been all that impressed with them, with one exception - Tumidango's.  (http://bowlroll.net/up/dl29455) Granted, I'm a big fan of Tumidango's models anyway.  They're well-made and notably pretty (especially Kongou).  But this is something else - this is one of the best dancing models I've ever seen.  There's just something about her - I assume it's just the specific geometry of her bones - that's just a cu

So I'm down to seemingly endlessly encoding and re-encoding my MMD video.  I've about settled down to an acceptable combination of codecs (export with Huffyuv, encode with h264 and faac, all done in Avidemux) and now I'm just tweaking color and contrast and such and trying to get it as good as I can.  And trying to just work up the courage to post it.  I don't even have a youtube account.  I've never posted anything like this before, so it's all new to me. I still like it though.  I don't want to give too much away, but it's a relatively old motion that I downloaded just because I've always liked the song, and I just happened to try it out w
